In August 2019, Qwyn K. debuted her freshman Urban Erotica Romance entitled Needing Something which follows the main character, Jodi, and her insatiable desire for a co-worker. As a Detroit Native, Qwyn K. was captivated by the Urban Fiction Genre in the 7th grade when her teacher would read her excerpts from leading authors in the genre. ”Don’t tell y'all parents I’m reading yall this,” Mrs. Halloway would caution as she read Qwyn and other girls pages from a book during recess. Mrs. Halloway didn't know that she made Qwyn fall in love with urban fiction and opened up her imagination and boldness as a writer. The mother of two currently resides in Detroit and is actively working on her sophomore book as a sequel to Needing Something.
